(Reggaeton Wear)_(2005)_Clothing Line by ArJeiEmSi

Time Is Art...
and what You Do with Your Time Is Your Art...

This was the project that started My Obsession with Creating Works Of Art and Design, that would Speak for Themselves, with the kind of skill I have, I have been developing different kinds of Portfolios and Developing Brand Ideas, as part of (Work Experience) me as a way of mastering creating iconographic imageries that could resonate with the world, as always my ideas they just seem to be ahead of their time. Around (2005) I was Living in El Yunque (National Rainforest) with my Dogs, developing My Artworks, and I had not yet become a Street Artist yet.

A Friend of mine (Gabriel Rexach) brought up to my house to visit during the night, a couple of Big Shots (Sales Reps) from NYC that were working for a young Tenis Brand, called Reggaeton Wear, with a line of Tenis Shoes they were representing, and during their stay they mentioned that they wanted to develop a clothing line called Reggaeton Wear which at the time the (Genre) of Reggaeton was just starting to Surface, as a global phenomena.

I said that I would like to work on some ideas to see if they would be interested, Of course, being me and taking for ever to develop some thing, it took me about (6 Months to Prepare the set of images you see in this Album, and I prepared a Portfolio, which I send to the guys who were visiting, of course it had taken me a while to do, and they went with another concept for a clothing brand that unfortunately did not make it.

The Only things I heard from them was that the Owner of the Brand, really liked the work and said to tell me "Respect" but they had gone with other designers that were not able to achieve what they were looking for.

But it is Still a Great way of me showing what it is the kind of work I do. This is My Personal Brand of T-Shirt Designs by ArJeiEmSi

The Portfolio below is a (Preview) of the way I develop My Artworks & Designs, I usually create enough Images to fill a Large (iatoya) Black Portfolio (48 pages). I develop repetition patterns with the Logo and develop the brand based on the graphic elements provided, if there are no design element provided, I would create my own Design Elements, recreating the logos of the Companies I want to pitch in the ideas.

I have always had a hard time working for anybody else, and all the projects I have develop has been as if I was the (Client) requesting the development of different product lines, as well as the (Designer) developing the Brand.

I have always worked on projects that really inspire me and that I like the challenge of developing. This is usually the case because I involve myself so much in the project that    I take it as my own, as if it was my company and I was the developing said product.

Because most of the works I have done, have not been paid works, is just me creating beautiful content of a possible clothing line, so in a way all this project in the long run are My Portfolios of Designs, it show the way I work my projects, they are all the intellectual  property of ArJeiEmSi.

I also like to include samples of what a Street Art Campaign of the Brand would look like, I would go around and take pictures around the city, this was in a wall that had a frame for a poster but there was no poster, there was the (2) stencils on the left side, the Fiesta, and the Music Studio Telephone. Then I integrated the different Poster & Stencil Elements
of the Repetition of Dogs Stencils.

This are samples of the kind of work I would create by repetition of Brand Elements to complement Brand Identity.
