I had a life experience that forever change who "I Am"...
On July 4th, 2006, at three different times during the day, I was so close to being murdered, in my own home, nothing did happened to me, and the only explanation that I can come up with is of having a “Divine Intervention” thanks to the countless prayers from my mother to San Judas Tadeo, My Mother's Patron... Nothing happened to me.
But this experience made me See the “Wrong Paths” I had chosen, in order for Me, to Do what I wanted to do in My Life, and I realized that if I had DIED that day, (July 4, 2006), NOBODY would had ever known that I wasaGreat Artist... and that thought fill me with So much Sadness that it Activated from the depth of my Soul, the Mantra, Papavish OM Levinar… Actua CREA Plasma... Act CREATE Manifest…
I will try to keep the sequence of events as Truthful in (Dateline) as it happen. the video below is a (Little Preview I Love) of one of the Installation of Stickers.
Circa 2008 (Old San Juan) Puerto Rico by ArJeiEmSi.
In the year 2006, I decided to share my works of art as Street Art Sticker Compositions, this is one of my earlier pieces I did in the back of a trash can right across the Instituto de Cultura (Culture Institute) of Puerto Rico. A spot that got a lot of visibility, I would go back to document the decay of the stickers over time. I also started to share my work in YouTube of the different kinds of works I created over the years.
So I started documenting all my Work, Sketchbooks, Paintings, Photos, all my life ... and I have been putting them in the Street as installations of Stickers, and Posters...

I will try to show in this post the Experiences
I had documented as a Street Artist in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From 2006-2017.
I had to leave the Island after the Devastating Hurricanes (2017)
Irma and Maria, (2) Category (4) Hurricanes that past one after the other in a span of (2) weeks. The second of which (Maria) completely Devastated the island collapsing all infrastructure, Electricity and Water for some parts of Puerto Rico up to (1 year).
Where I was living in Santurce. By the time I left in December of 2017 we had been without Electricity for (60) days and it did not look like it was getting any better. The water was able to be restored after about 3 weeks after the event. I will be posting Videos and Photographs, in later posts, of what was that like as an Experience.
For Now I need to organized the content of the blog, and keep the post limited to Subject Matter, ways I create my Artworks, My Story, and videos and photos I have taken over the years, of things I find Interesting, Insights with Life Experiences I have had.

Jim (Street Art) Turq. by ArJeiEmSi.
For the first few years I created the stickers myself, and this is one of the sheets I would print, then I would have to cut to size the different sizes, but that would allow me to do different types of Compositions according to place and size.
This is the Second Incarnation of The Doodle Book.
The first one I started on April of 2006 in a regular note book with blue lines. (I will be posting the Doodle Book (01) in another Post.
I worked on it for a couple of years, and then it really started to bother me, that I started the project on a simple notebook with blue lines all across the page, instead of an artist Sketch Book.
The Second Incarnation of The Doodle Book (02) by ArJeiEmSi
I started in 2012, after I return from San Francisco after a failed attempt to move there (I might share the reasons for that on another time, Maybe).
I started the Project with a limited set of tools,
• An Artist Sketch Book (Acid Free) pages
• And a Set of (3) pens (Bics)
• (1) Blue, (1) Black, (1) Red ink pens
Anyways the second doodle book I have been working (ON & OFF) since 2012. Some years I intensely work on it, other years I forget and I don't even touch the sketchbook.
It is a process that is very time consuming, but I have tried to document the whole process very diligently, so I will be posting a series of TimeLapse (Videos) and photographs of close up shots, and other videos of me working on them coloring in and drawings. I will be showing the progression of time over the years and how the artworks starts and finish, with most of them remaining as work in progress, this is the way I develop my Work in a Smaller Format.
All finish pieces form a part of the Artworks I create, mainly The Fine Arts (Artworks) works that I reproduce and produce as Prints, Stickers, Posters and Outdoor Murals.
I start by creating scribbles from page to page with the different pens, in Black, Blue, and Red (gel inks) after a while it became a little boring with just those (3) colors, so I started creating little bubbles with the different colors and noticed that by doing that, it added (3) shades of those colors, after a while it began to be boring, and then at some point decided to integrate (Highlighters) (Bright Yellow, Bright Magenta, Bright Blue, Bright Purple, Bright Orange). this ones they would be good for a couple of months but then I would have to go over the spaces on multiple occasions, because they haver a tendency to fede a little bit.
Then I started doing research into what type of materials I could use to continue the project. I have use Fabric Markers by (Sharpie) Really Good, and have also used acrylic markers and acrylic paint and brushes, I also used (Graphite Sticks).
The next Videos shows a Preview of (The Doodle Book)
and me explaining the process of creation. During Covid Times (2020)
(Sorry the Content is in Spanish), I will make an effort to create my content in English from now on, so I do not have to do (2) versions of the videos.
This is a Preview of the Doodle Book (02) by ArJeiEmSi, during Pandemic Times (Covid-19) circa 2020.
At other times I have given (The Doodle Book) to my friend and fellow Artist Antonio Folch and he continue integrating his artwork imagery that he creates based on the shapes and scribbles he sees in the pages, this collaboration has been the most successful, I have had with any Artist, the integration of the different stiles have created a unique expression that both of us are very exited about.

It is My Intention that all this Artworks on this Sketchbook, that I will be using to create works of Street Art Around the World, as I start traveling an developing a Nomads Life Style, where I want to prepare a Bus as a Traveling Studio/Workshop/Pop Up Store/Home. To start manifesting a Vision that I have been Dreaming about for (37 Years)
This Traveling Studio Bus, will have the necessary equipment to assist me in Creating my Artworks on the Road, Printers, Computers, and necessary elements to do the Job.
Preview of The Doodle Book (02) by ArJeiEmSi
Showing all the works and then showing some of the materials I work with (Red) ink pens to make the scribbles, and then use Highlighters to fill in the space with more intense colors.
You can notice how fast I am doing the scribbles, in a process that is on a very subconscious levels, spilling my Subconcious Mind onto the pages.
Another (PREVIEW) of me working on The Doodle Book with markers and some Classical Music in the Background, sorry the video was too long and the music gets cut of by the Middle of the Video.
I have I lot of work, Photos and Videos (Time-lapse) that I am organizing to upload on My Blog. It is work that I want to share with my audience because it takes a lot of time to document any movement, and I think the Best way to apreciate my work (is the amount of time an effort I have put into it) and the only way to do that is to Show You what I have done.
(Street Art TOTEM) This was "One" of the Best Occasions to do my work. This piece was Created in what it use to be a Public Telephone, next to the Museum of Puerto Rico. I created a Series of (7-8) Installations in Santurce, Calle Del Parque, Ponce de Leon. I will be posting Photographs and additional videos to show, the different pieces and the process of creation. At the same time I will be sharing the stories behind the pieces and reactions I have gotten from my work.
Each one of my Posts are Design to show the Different Aspects of the work I do. The Most Important aspect of what I do is to Document Everything I do, and I have been Documenting the amount of works and different projects I have created over the years.
I will try not to jump around to much and try to create posts in the chronological order in which the event (experiences) happened.
During this installation there was a Police car that stop right to me, tottaly parking in a spot that was going against his traffic, I got a little Nervous, because of my previous encounters with police officers.
Just a Note, this was the first time I Wheat Pasted my Posters in
Full Color (Before I had friction with other officers because I was uing Black & White Photocopies of my work and it looked dark and ugly)
But this Time they Ask... What Are You Doing???
and I Responded...
"I Am Sharing My Artworks with the World and this (Telephone TOTEM) seem a little abandoned, so I decided to make it a little more Beautiful"
and They Responded...
It Looks Beautiful...
both of them giving me their Thumbs Up!
Keep it Up!
and in essence becoming a (Bona-Fide) Street Artist in San Juan Puerto Rico right at that moment.

(Stop Motion) Videos by ArJeiEmSi (Work In Progress)
This is a Time Lapse (Stop Motion) Video of a Concept that I am developing for the One of a Kind Garments, It is actually the little box (Treasure Box) is the container of the Art Piece, either a T-Shirt, Long Sleeve Shirt, or Jacket or Sweater, that I create as a One of a Kind Garments by ArJeiEmSi.
This are a couple of experiments I have created so far, the idea behind it is, just like in the pixar's animated Toy Stories, the toys had their own Soul or were sentient beings, this are different story lines that I am developing for each item, so it can be created into a (Stop Motion) video of the T-Shirt becoming Alive and having different experiences on camera onto how they show themselves or how they want to desperately leave the scene. In the process it shows the content of the boxes, being the t-shirt and the stickers and business card info.
Music ("Clandestino")_Manu Chao
This was my First (Stop Motion) Video. I thought it was so cool to create something that it would be the equivalent of Digital Magic, where you can Make Believe whatever it is that you would like to communicate by eliminating (editing) unnecessary information (bits/pics)

Papavish OM Levinar by Folch & ArJeiEmSi
This were some early shots of a collaboration between Antonio Folch and ArJeiEmSi, the T-Shirt half way finish. I will be posting pictures of the finish piece below.
"El Astro-Nauta" One Of a Kind T-Shirt by Folch & ArJeiEmSi.
"Lord Ganesha" One Of a Kind T-Shirt by Folch & ArJeiEmSi.
This is a "One of a Kind T-Shirt" collaboration between artists Antonio Folch & ArJeiEmSi.
I start the t-shirts with my stencils and Bleach, taking out the color, then I apply coloration in acrylic and the stencils, and then I pass on back to Antonio who starts creating imagery based on the information he is perceiving and creating imagery diferent that what he normaly draws and creates, he brings alive the characters with different personalities, and story lines, the colororation tend to be my work and the realistic imagery of the characters of El Astro-Nauta and Lord Ganesha. Absolutly Beautiful collaboration, the Artworks came out so Beautiful. We spend working on each shirt a total of 60 Hours between (2) artists. the artworks came out so beautiful that I have created them into Stickers, Magnets., Posters, Prints, and different products.
The Original "One of a Kind T-Shirt" by Antonio Folch & ArJeiEmSi.
was priced at $500.
They were great starts of conversations, but nobody wanted to buy. the works at those prices, so I decided the we were going to wear them instead. This One in particular was one that I used for many years and then I pass it on to a Friend, that was really impressed by the works, by that time it had already been mended a couple of times with a sawing machine.
